DOG TRAINING - GROUP &
INDIVIDUAL
"A
TRAINED DOG IS A HAPPY DOG"
When Should Training
Begin?
From 6 months of age, a dog is ready to start serious training.
Ideally, he has been through our puppy class and knows the
basics - but even if he is older and/or has had no previous
training, a dog will be accepted on the course.
Why Should you Complete a Training Course?
A course will help you to be able to effectively control
your dog and to prevent behaviour problems from developing.
A happy, well-behaved dog is a joy to take for a walk or
a drive in the car. Just as importantly, it will not damage
your home, annoy your neighbours or cause embarrassment
when people visit.
Can you do Individual Training?
Yes - this suits those with limited time and less flexible
circumstances. Private instruction is tailored to your special
needs. Sessions are conducted at various locations and times
to suit you.
What Equipment do You Need?
Just bring your dog and wear suitable attire - good walking
shoes and fitting clothing which will not flap in the dog's
face as he works. You will be supplied with top-quality
equipment
What Will You Learn?
Everything required for a happy, well-behaved domestic dog.
You will develop an understanding of your dog's actions
and body language.
How is a Group Course Structured?
A course begins with a lecture evening (without the dog)
lasting around two and a half hours. This is followed by
practical training sessions one week apart. You will achieve
real skills which you practise and build progressively each
week.
What are the Benefits and Advantages
of a Group Course?
Socialisation of dogs with one another
Increased fun through interaction with other dog-owners
Cost effective, affordable training
Gives time to practise between sessions and build on learned
skills
What are the Benefits and Advantages
of Individual Training?
Time effective for people with busy lives
Personal, private & flexible - tailored to your individual
requirements
You can choose the time and date to suit you
